Open Year Round

Four_seasons-17nj4ip

Now that everyone is back in school and summer is beginning to wind down you may think Gateway is doing the same. Think again! Don’t worry about losing your favorite place to hang out just because summer is ending. Gateway is open YEAR ROUND! That means rain, sun, blizzard or blistering heat Gateway is open. If it’s too cold to be outside come on in to the arcade and warm up with some awesome games. So long as the ground is dry all activities at Gateway are open. Although if it’s rainy or snowy the GoKarts and batting cages won’t be open. Tho, the way Colorado’s weather is it may only be a few hours till it’s dry again. So if you’re looking for something to do this Fall, Winter or Spring consider Gateway!

Gateway Employee Corner

In this weeks employee corner we have Mischa telling us about his passion of rock climbing.

I go rock climbing at The Spot. It is a bouldering gym which means that you don’t use any ropes and only go about 15 to 20 feet up. Everyone there is really nice and willing to help out and give advice so it is a great place for all levels of climbing. If you prefer climbing higher with ropes, the Boulder Rock Club is a great place to go. I prefer bouldering so I tend to stick to The Spot. I have climbed outside as well including a climb up the first flatiron when I was in high school. It was a beautiful view far out into the Colorado plains from the top. Boulder is surrounded by fantastic places to climb and also boulder scattered all around the foothills.
